This setting of the first line of the well-known Latin text, popularized in the 19th century by Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, was commissioned by John Shusdock and the Charlotte Catholic High School Concert Choir, and is dedicated Alice Cecilia Detrich.

Locus iste a Deo factus est, | This place was made by God,

inaestimabile sacramentum, | a priceless sacrament;

irreprehensibilis est. | it is without reproach.
